Too true... once you hit 18+ here there is nothing to do in the evening that doesn't involve kids...

you could go into town and try to spot anyone going into the hippodrome who is actually over 18. Or go down Layer Road and watch Col U lose to some other dodgy football team. Err.....i think thats it!

Other alternatives:
1) Dont have kids
2) Leave town

Haven't got kids (horrid things....), sorry was talking about teenyboppers down the Hippodrome!! Every pub in town is full of 14 year olds - or am I just showing my age?? (I'm only 25 and feel old...)

How's about keeping an eye out for the Lodge at Oulton Park coming up for sale - perfect place for any self respecting race fan to live

And just how much would it cost to purchase? I think we might need some help from Tom Chilton's dad! (hehe-oh is that subject closed now? damn). Id like to buy the spitfire at Donington-im reckon you'd get a good view from up there.....

I can offer you £2.41 and half a pack of Wrigley's Spearmint chewing gum

Although it would be pretty cool if someone could sort out something like that, where the fans owned the team.

it could be done, sort of like a bank account. but i think that you would need about 20 very rich fans. you could run it like the RAC driving club. (mind you the member ship fee for that is about 35k pa)

4 Quick reason's I can't buy a share:

I paid the same price for Normal Tesco's Unleaded the last time I filled up, that I paid for Shell Optimax last year.

I can't even afford a decent road car (old Fiat Uno is depressingly **** after 4 years since I was a student)

I can't afford my (group 4) car insurance.

If I had enough cash, I'd get my Class B race licence and go club racing!

Perhaps there could be some sort of Fantasy Touring Car thing, with a percentage of the money going to running the team. This probably wouldn't raise enough money on its own, but could create a big chunk of the neccessary money.

Or alternatively, some sort Lottery grant? Perhaps if they merged it with some sort of scheme to promote an up-and-coming young driver.

Is your Cinqy in standard tune?

My 1100cc Uno outputs (by considered opinion) 65-75Hp.

we wouldn't get a grant cos its not "the arts" so to speak, and apparently motorsport is not very pc. Something to do with pollution... which the media and the like have an obsession with!!! (telling me that i live in the most pollluted city this and blah blah....)
