Fastest Mercedes
B. Schneider 7th Alesi 14th Mercedes are off the pace today, but Alesi was third fastest and fastest mercedes on friday. Alesi is just 1 second off pole today and that puts him 14th! Looks like being a super championship. Aeillos on pole its an Audi 1,2,3 |

Probably the setup of the Touring Cars. Good to see Aiello take the pole. That same track where he went side over side crash destroying his Audi TT. I hope Aiello be back with the ALMS Audi team soon.

This is looking promising, not the Mercedes walkover it's been for two years.
Excellent. |

Or could MB be just sandbagging or playing with Opel/Audi to avoid organizers and fans from whining about another MB domination???

Could it be Mercedes year to be off the pace? I think because of all the changes made to the car, finding the right set up is hard, they'll have little data for this car. The wet practice won't have helped much. Abt are showing their progress! Maybe Schneider made a mistake or something?
