I'm seriously considering doing the Scholarship for the Clio's next year with Double Six racing - you have to be 17 and have a road car licence - no probs for me btw. Reading their info if you get to the finals you are asked what your aim in motorsport is - mine would have to be WTCC or V8 Supercars I'd say.

I wish I did the Formula BMW test now at Valenica. My friend went and will probably get picked. Always next year I guess.

Oh yeah, I've heard about that, I heard that if you go off the track you get kicked out with no refund.

Well that isn't true. I think you mean if you crash and domiolish the car? And why would you wanna get a refund? You would have done the course.

Me friend got picked to go back to the qualifiers. He was one of the 21 chosen back.
If he wins it he gets to drive next year in F BMW UK and they take care of everything. That means I get to be in the pits, get to go to every BTCC race and he can help me out more in karting.

It was I think 2-3 grand You had to be born in either 1989, 1990 or 1991. I guess I will be too old next year but anyway I hope I can do it next year. I didn't wanna do it this year as I haven't had much experience in karting yet and still have stuff to learn and things to win...

This FBMW and The clio thing sounds good! But by the time I'm in Motorsports, you will all be race, or even championship winners! I love those FBMW cars, I dont like them in pictures, but when you see them close up at Knockhils Scruinteneiring they look fantastic!

i was born in 87 so im out of it :P

I looked into doing it the first year they started and no scholerships were offerecd and prices we were quoted were stupid. £120,000 to race for a back of grid team plus a minimum of £3,00 per corner of damage repairs. Rip off imo

Karting is all the racing I can afford to do this year.
Next year I want to get back in to single seaters, maybe formula ford, but as others have said it is all about what I can afford.
