Looks like it is over.

Very odd move, maybe this was supposed to be some sort of parade lap for the fans?

Not sure what that was meant to be. I was going to praise the officials for their clarity, but that was just a horrendous end to the race and it wasn't necessary. Why not bring out the chequered for the fans?

I'm gutted for anyone who went, I really am.

I understand the decision not to race. But seriously, never return to Fuji again. You can't schedule a race on a circuit where there's a 50% chance of torrential rain.

What a bizarre day this was. Audi loses a race with zero green-flag laps due to reliability issues..

Apart from the last lap confusion, the WEC handled the situation splendidly.

Fans are now invited into the pit lane for a meet & greet with the drivers, a great move to show the fans the respect they deserve for not going home.

They do 3 Super GT races each year at Fuji (and another Formula Nippon race) and there are rarely any issues. You are exaggerating the issue.

well im sure glad i watched all 394 laps of petit, and some of you guys complaigned about the 20 min cautions.ugg what a let down, i was expecting a race for the last 3 hours but no.what a let down.

so i got confused in that confusion at the end,so the toyota pulled out from behind the pace car que as it pulled into the pits.so is that not considered forfiting its position?or did it not count because of red flag?

I'm quite surprised, I thought that if a race didn't cover a meaningful distance, the race was cancelled and no trophy/points/classification awarded.
