Lack of red in HPDC
Does anyone have any inside info (maybe from the powder room) on level 1 Holden teams entering a cars in next years development series? Even if they help existing Holden teams, it would be a win win for both parties. Its seems only Ford are taking an advantage of bedding in enduro drivers and free testing.

It's not really *free*.
And it is also not completely accurate testing. (Due to the different rules and regulations) DKGandBH |

Plus throw in, what, 100 kay gees of ballast.
Snappy Tom is too busy with KRT and HRT and a mystical 5th car. Garry tired it with Leanne Tander nee Ferrier. |

I think Skaife and the Kelly family should bring back the HYL program

It's much easier for Ford to clean up is that they sell their cars rather than handing them onto other HMS teams.
It simply means that more competitive Fords are for sale. |

Another reason Holdens aren't running is that they aren't allowed to use the HMS Engine they still have to use the 18 degree chev engine and that probaly led to a number of front running teams to pull out |

I think they introduced the BA and VY models into the series too early.

I agree the vy and ba should of been maybe 1-2 down the track so the cars don't cost that much but i guess with level one teams coming in, that speed up the process and also with getting rid of the privateers as that was the reason for the series being started back all those years back.

Quite true Rombles. The 18 degree certainly held its own right up to the end in the main game and would certainly be a worthy competitior in the HPDC series,
