I wonder what the factories will come up with for front fenders on the bikes this year. The FIM has removed the limitation on aerodynamic aids extending beyond the front axle of the bike and I can just imagine some semi- or fully-faired front wheels coming. Anyone seen or heard anything concerning this?

I hadn't heard this but it could make for some very interesting bikes. It might even make the prototype GP bikes look different enough to SBK bikes to have both series not to be considered as much of a competitor to each other (it's been a long day, decipher that sentence at your own risk).
