Gerben24 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Weird, F1 and Motogp during the same weekend, which means 125 and 250 clash with the most exciting F1 race of the season...

Well, it's probably going to rain, be around 10 degrees celcius and there'll be a strong wind. None of the other riders are used to that. They'll moan, shake heads and JT will just get on with the job, happy with 'his' circumstances and win the race... Same will happen in Assen, it always rains here at the end of June, so he'll win here as well!!

Seriously tho, he's under a lot of pressure, because of the expectations! So, don't know what to expect.

Well, it's raining as I'm typing this. Westy is in 5th...

It can not be an easy debut weekend, but Spies is doing a great job!

Not really 8 seconds!! was only three at the end but I imagine he wont be there for much longer if rumours persist

Very impressed with Spies, he looks the real deal

And also rather unimpressed with Toseland being typically British and choking under the pressure. For Gods sake man why is the only Brit that rarely did this the one everyone loves to hate... Foggy!

2nd time on the bike, first time on the track, in the rain, qualified 8th about 2 seconds off the pace, but more importantly, within one second of 3rd place qualifier. If it's raining watch for Ben to get on the Podium. This is going to be very interesting, a new guy, just learning the bike, in the rain, qualifies 8th. Watch for him to get faster and faster as the race goes on. I think this kid is a talent, and is probably a future world champ.

How about Scott Redding, qualified 4th, with a rather old looking bike!

Looks like another Simoncelli vs Bautista 250cc GP - Kallio can maybe hope for a podium place finish today...

I was sure Kallio was going to crash, the bike was so sideways on the braking.

I am sorry to sy that today you have seen the the reason why JT is not a GP champion in the making but why Redding could be!!

No special helmets, no daft leathers, same stuff as always and the kid just dod the job.

I am very wary of JT and his entourage, I really think he does too much sometimes, all the pre race stuff this week must have taken his eye off the ball

He looked far too nervous and eager and made himself look a bit silly really

Forget the stupid leathers and helmets and just keep everything the same

Fair play to Stoner, looks like we can add him to list of potential champs now

Also good rides for West finally hitting form and Lorenzo back with a bang
