Shane will get investigated. Tim makes it sound like half the field is out to get Frosty, just sooks both of them.

A mock kiwi accent may, or may not have been used by Mr Reynolds.

With Davey's car rattling away on the hard cut, and Jizz fair up his clacker, it was never going to end well......

How are SVG's actions against Reynolds any different to Lowndes' tapping Frosty into a spin at Bathurst 2014? (Lowndes got a drive through) 25 point penalty is no penalty at all. The category loses respect of the punters with this weak and inconsistent officiating.
SVG's attempt to pull the racist card was just pathetic, indicates that his defence was flimsy. I wonder whether he was trying to help his 2016 employers by removing a title competitor to Lowndes. I hope that the series does not go down this track where teams from the same manufacturer help each other (Courtney hinted at this type of thing in the last episode of Inside Supercars). This approach has been used in the DTM over the years too much controversy. |

But interesting to read further down the stewards report that Dave Reynolds was fined $5,000 for some infringement in the meeting rides. The mind absolutely boggles as to what DR could have done that was worth $5K fine compaed to SVG did that only incurred 25 points. This doesn't make sense at all. Shows what a complete farce V8SC have become!,!!!!!!!! |

Exactly. People bump people and they go off the track - its called racing. Sometimes they screw up, and get a penalty. |

From the interviews conducted so far this very few people agree with softness of the penalty handed out to Giz. It reflects the inconsistency of penalties in this category. Name a team manager who wouldn't in this situation. |

Normally after a couple of processional sprint races, in general and on here it's all pretty quiet. Throw in an incident and all of a sudden there's some excitement.

No publicity's bad publicity, perhaps? For my tuppence, the caterwauling and handbaggery yesterday's just reinforcing my indifference to the series' evolution. That said, the SVG issue at hand will be forgotten by sundown today, eclipsed by some other beaten-up drama or another...

And where was everyone bleating for Cam Waters to get banned from the meeting after he took out 4 cars last race? The lack of consistency from you lot is as bad as the lack of consistency from the officialdom, but: If they penalise someone immediately for a drive-through and its a howler, you scream BLUE murder If they take the time to get all the video and data, if the decision doesn't suit, you scream BLUE murder. |
