Probably a race in 2000 when neither were driving for Jordan

Actually, I'm sure he managed it in 1997! Mind you, that was Ralfs's first year, so maybe it's excusable! Oh, and it was ITVs first year too - maybe he was trying to initiate new fans to 'Murray's Magical Mishaps'!

Not a blunder but I love this one:

MURRAY: "And his car is on fire as he enters the swimming pool!"

JAMES HUNT: "Well that should put them out then."

Murray was great, but I miss James even more, even now.

Yes, Murray was always a card-carrying member of the Michael Schumacher fan club.

I generally liked MW but he did have a bit of a blind spot against Mika Hakkinen.

Saw one on one of his videos.
Brands Hatch some time in the late 70's/early 80's.
Saloon car race.
Murray " Ford escort first, Ford escort second, Ford escort third.........Not suprising really because they are ALL Ford escorts.

From all the above, his biggest blunder was retiring too soon!

I think he retired at the right time - he said it was best to decide when to stop rather than wait for the day the bosses told him to.
