Yes they only had 2 TBL’s themselves, Simpson took his to Eurotech. However they did have 3 Civic Type R’s & BTCNorlin have acquired 2, so potentially there might be another one heading somewhere else!

3 with Eurotech, 2 with Norlin. 5 race cars. Only 7 built, 1 ex Jeff smith written off and the ex Simpson shell that was damaged
Can't see another being used

I think the two Dynamics cars - not new shells - are what Norlin have acquired. Always possible I am wrong!

Elsewhere Mike Epps has commented about having completed a press release: the HARD announcement is due at 4pm. Linking 2 + 2 and making 6.7?! 😀

Good point I had forgotten about the write-off! So if Speedworks do change cars as rumoured maybe they’ve got their hands on a Levorg!!!

My guess: Josh Cook at HARD. As usual, likely to be horribly wrong

So it’s looking like it’s gonna be Epps at HARD, he certainly did well for them last season at times

Unless Epps' press release is saying "so long and thanks for all the fish" to Hard, and announcing his new plans?

Caine in at Hard

Must say unexpected and slightly underwhelming news Hope Epps gets a drive as he seriously had untapped potential

Hmm...I like Cainey, and he's a good driver, but it'd be a shame if that was Epps out of a drive. He really impressed me last year.

Epps would have been underwhelming. Caine is slightly more interesting because they need an experienced driver who can lead development. I'm getting bored of the social media reveals at x o'clock that ultimately turn out to be not that interesting.

It’s about time Caine got a full season, his one off drives have shown what he can do

They have one of the 2017 race cars and one that was a spare shell.

This insinuates Ash Sutton hasn't yet got a deal for 2018...

https://www.motorsport-news.co.uk/ne...-btcc-success/

Whereas the Adrian Flux statement of last year said he would be back to defend the title in 2018...

Got to love some of the quotes from these drivers....in reality it translates to "This was the cheapest seat could get into to get me into BTCC"

Caine must be bringing more money than Epps for that final HARD seat.

This gets more interesting: so the second 2017 car is unaccounted for. It isn't at Dynamics - my snout is reliable. Any ideas where it went? Eurotech as a spare? Did Matt Simpson acquire it? Is it the mystery motor at Speedworks? Who is Hong Kong Phooey?

This probably - make that definitely -
should be classified as fiction:

Mr JP, driver and daring deal do-er, brokered the whole Silverline Flux Subaru deal. Mr JP and a farmer had some cross words and stopped playing together nicely.

Mr JP took HIS Flux backing home with him. So at the farm a lack of budget thus far has meant no announcements.

Happy end no. 1:
Mr JP, and his Flux backing and a couple of not the farmers Subarus (i.e. Subarus Subarus) ended up in a shed. With a pair of TBLs and all 888's gear.

Happy end no. 2:
As per no. 1 but two brand new Subarus and the NGTC bits from the MGs.

Happy end no. 3:
Mr JP and Flux roll up at BTC Norlin Flux Honda Racing. With Mr Sutton in tow...

Happy end no. 4:
As per no. 3 but at FLUX PMR Vauxhall.

Must change my medication! 🤣

I've just remembered that the spare BMW was for sale at the start of the year..... Plans may have changed since the accident Collard had, but there has been another BMW chassis dipped and sent to Willie Pooles apparently.
