Britcar 24hr, Abby 4am!

To the crew at Abby.

I thanked you at the time and I thanked one of the crew who I saw later in the pit lane but, publicly, THANKS from the big red Falcon at 4am!

Robin.

I'm afraid you're right it did fall off in the complex - twice! I was only responsible for Abby!

On my in lap, I tried to be kind to a car behind me and let him have the first apex. As I ended up on the slippy stuff on slicks it was "good night Vienna" .

We only ran for some 9 hours out of the 24 as we kept snaping the power steering and water pump belt. I think we got through five, some only lasting a lap!

So, with only one left, we had to sit it out and watch our sister car over take us for third in class.
