Le Mans 2006

I went as a friends passenger at the last minute. I'm afraid there's not a lot of the racing - we went more for the fun surrounding the event - still, you might like a few of them...

hope you had a good time Stefan, too bad about the Aston losing the clutch after such a good pacing battle with the vette...

what class is the Sherman in? slow and steady I imagine, like the GT2 winning Panoz, with a bit more "get out of my way" authority. Hope your little person is well.

I could really see how all the "other stuff" is as fun as the race, I loved walking around the camping area when I was there, the mix of beautiful cars, interesting people, some less interesting people doing bad things to their livers. The whole loudness and scale of the spectators was a rather interesting thing. I'm sure there have been good reportages done of it, I just wish I was closer tobe able to go more often and spend more time documenting the "other stuff", all angles of it. (and I'm not sure if I'd want to even think of the bike 24 hrs, sounds like its really bonkers spectators-wise.)

cheers

ps, like the p.o.v shot down the town street, low shutter speed one.
