luckn002 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lots, lots more BTCC related tweeting from TOC today. Whether or not the tweeting means anything (and, again, probably more my hopes rather than what's realistic!) how good would it be to see some / all these rumoured drivers make a return - Tom, Tordoff, Nash, Huff...

Somehow the grid seems to get even more competitive every year!

I'm sure Dynamics said something similar when they unveiled the Tourer in 2014

Until yesterday his Twitter bio stated "BMW Works driver for " something - i cant remember might have been Nurburgring 24hr, but that no longer shows... I guess you cant be a works driver for BMW and Honda at the same time

There is also no reference to any GT championship there anymore... prepare for the announcement

He then went on to describe them as 'completely new cars' - which from the outside they are.

So what you have are the three chassis' from 2017, with new bodies on top.

Old chassis - new shell. Which means there is nothing to sell elsewhere, and so even though they are described as 'new', they are not new additions to the grid, but a reworking of previous cars.
Exactly this, he led people down the garden path a little. Hence leading me (and not just me) to think they had totally new from the ground up motors. The unfinished car in the background further added to that illusion.

It still beggars the question: what was that unfinished car? It certainly was not the one Luke Davenport was hurt in. A spare shell (i.e. new), or the Maximum or Parker car?

I would guess the latter if pushed given the Parker/BMW story that has been doing the rounds. Link TOC into that one?

None of the above.

Davenport's car was scrapped, but they built a new one for Butcher so still finished the season with 3 cars. The unfinished/striped one was used by Jackson last year and will be the spare this year.

They built a new car for the last few rounds of the season. They still have the 3 cars. No mystery.

Depending on contractual agreements, said team may receive a lump sum.

Be good to see Goff in a truely top team; I reckon he'll rise to the occasion.

I agree, he did well at the still decent at the time 888 but he didn't really impress at WSR although i get there was a FWD/RWD transition there

Goff really arrived last season, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see him at Dynamics

Goff is definitely one of my top 3 or 4 favourite drivers on the grid, but honestly I would rather see him stay at Eurotech. Most of the issues with the Honda last year were engine related and ET seem to have the stronger engine - I believe Goff beat Neal in the championship last year?

Also, he's one of those drivers whose talent far outweighs his budget, and I can't imagine the Dynamics seat is cheap...

RCIB / AutoAid to sponsor AmD MGs

Also - "The first driver in the AmDtuning.com with AutoAid/RCIB Insurance Racing line-up has now been signed and will be announced in due course, with discussions ongoing with a number of drivers in regards to the second seat."

"This new partnership has already allowed us to bring together a deal to sign a very quick young driver for the first car, who we feel is more than capable of taking the MG back to the podium and challenging for some silverware.”
