In 1976, Sir Frank Williams got the investment by a Canadian millionaire, Walter Wolf.
In 2017, Williams got the investment by another Canadian millionaire, Lawrence Stroll.
Hope the current investment could have differences from the first one.

Not sure about that, since Wolf pulled his finances to build his own race team.

When SFW saw his team, in the hands of Wolf, was capable to winning races with Scheckter, he was very aware about what to do. The WR1 is, truly, a Williams car, developed by Frank Williams Racing Cars the previous year 1976, and also derived from the 1975 Hesketh 308 (they were both developed by Harvey Postlethwaite, no more no less). Fact is, that Wolf owned Williams team by the time, then sir Frank couldn't have the credit then.

Yes, but it doesn't change the point.

Exactly. It’s difficult to see much long-term good coming from the situation. Hold and delay and wait for a new F1 model is the best hope. And hope is pretty much all it can be.

How about the fact that every time Kyvat gets demoted/dropped, Max Verstappen wins.

2016 Spanish GP: Kyvat dropped from RBR to STR, with Max taking his place, who goes on to win
2017 Malaysian GP: Kyvat replaced in the STR by Gasly, Max wins
2017 Mexican GP: Kyvat dropped for good by STR, Max takes his third win

In Spa 1992, Perry McCarthy (the Stig) suffered an accident due to a defective steering wheel column.
At the time, Mosley (ironically, the owner of Simtek, the company whose car McCarthy drove) excluded Andrea Moda team from F1 because "put the sport into disrepute".

Two years later... It's up to you to tell the rest.

Perry didn't technically have an accident, he just scraped past the barrier at Eau Rouge. And it was after that session that Andrea Sassetti was nicked for fraud.

I thought of another one involving father son Graham and Damon Hill. Both won the Spanish GP after their team mate and perhaps the greatest driver at the time died. Jim Clark in 1968 and Ayrton Senna 1994
