Logitech G25 + GT6/FM4/F1 2013/WRC4 - worth it?

So the Logitech G25 costs about £200, And I only have £125. Someone (no names) asked me if they wanted to split the money, buy it and share it. Is it worth it?

Buy a Logitech Driving Force GT and keep it for yourself

Seems to be a bad time for buying wheels. My DFGT cost about £70 'nearly new' a little more than a year ago. Now, second hand DFGTs are around £120-130. Having said that, the spend is very much worth it if you've only played racing games with a pad before, and I'd say they are all but essential if you're looking at 'proper' simulations.

The G25 has a good enough reputation - quite similar to the even more popular G27 in my experience, though I'm not sure what the exact differences are - but if it were me, I wouldn't want to be giving my wheel away for more than a couple of days...

I had a G25 for years. Bought it in 2007 and it died last year. I bought a G27 to replace it. If you want a realistic driving experience though, none of those titles will do it. iRacing is probably the best. I hear good things about Assetto Corsa too.

I already have one, but It's the person's who asked me if we could buy it. And I don't want to break the GTDF.

I have a DFGT and i'm very happy with it, had it for years. Instead of those arcadey titles, consider iRacing, Assetto Corsa or rFactor.

I have rFactor and it is astounding how much content is available, free! Nearly every track in the world and more cars than any man could ever want.

I may have bought the G27 and got a free copy of rFactor with it.
