No Alan, It was Simon Olley's turn this meeting. Were sharing the drive this year.

By the way Simon is trying to persuade Mike to come back to Oulton so that both cars can come over this time. Simon being the second driver. They've banned me from racing at Oulton......they reckon I will kill myself.

I think my vector broke Mick's brush with the barrier's. I don't think Victor should get all the blame Michael pushed all 3 of us to the left as a result of his bad start and nobody was prepared to lift so Michael and Victor touched spinning Michael into me and some how Victor and Matt escaped. If anyone has a vector bellhousing or knows where there is one let us know i need one quick.

Don't remind me
Chris - when you find a date that you're free and want to marshal you'll be more than welcome as there's always a shortage. If you want to know who to contact to volunteer, then any of us will be happy to point you in the right direction - you know the people to ask

Sounds like a plan Neville. I will be over for the festival...Can't wait.
I did ask Mike to introduce us when I saw your truck but he was otherwise engaged.

I look forward to putting a face to the name too.

Back to the thread

My latest confirmed number of NW FF1600 people marshalling on Saturday is 15 drivers plus 6 non drivers. Not bad at all to get more drivers from one class marshalling than some classes can muster on their grid.

There is still time to put your name down with Alistair.

There was a very good letter from a Lynne Edwards this week in "Motorsport News" about Formula Woman. Maybe the girls should do a day's marshalling.

Take a look at www.clubff1600.co.uk There is a picture of the first four drivers in today's Pre87 race, around one of our marshalling drivers car [Steve Jones aka Stephen Rae] with todays legend to the marshals emblazoned along the side of his Reynard FF84
