Rumour Has It.....
Marcus Zukanovic is apparently out shopping for a Mustang GT500 for the Invitational Class and long time Mustang importer Craig Dean is looking to run a standard Mustang GT.
Mustang GT for Craig Dean was the 2nd Stang rumoured.

335i is a strong combo, that GT500 is going to need an Ace up it's sleeve..

The Holt BMW looks the goods. Maybe one of the only cars that will be able to take it up to the EVO's...
Also, Steve Briffa looks very quick this weekend at Sandown. A pair of Holdsworth brothers for Bathurst and this is more than a dark horse for the big race...

As well as the Briffa HSV, I hope the FG F6's of Jeremy Gray & Ted Robinson can take it up to the front runners, I haven't been really impressed by the falcons that have been entered in the B12 hour in the past.

Davo,
Any news on the sale of the Osborne Celica's?
Also, what happened to Briffa's HSV on the weekend? Pace but no reliability.

Luff replaces Ricciardello who was my driver of the race in 2009. Where to for Tony in 2010?
Also heard a whisper that a certain F3 regular is close to putting something together for 2010...

Briff had wheel studs fail in Race 1 - not sure on Race 2 but it was puffing a bit of smoke. Briff has serious pace in a straight line, watching the in-car from Holty's BMW would see the HSV simply power away in a straight line, but seemed to lose ground again to the BMW under brakes and in mid-corner speed. But power down is something the big HSV is definitely not lacking.

I haven't heard any news on the sale of the Osborne Celica's Belly 13.

  • Walden Motorsport -
  • O'Connor - Lotus
  • Rod Smith Nissan - 350Z
  • Nissan - 370Z from Classsic Adelaide
  • Todd Zani & John O'Dowd - HSV's

Talking about straight line pace Alfacors, I know Gray & Delfsma were plagued with issues, but did the FG F6 seem to be strong in a straight line? I know that is one of the key strengths of the torquey turbo f6

Clutch line in race 2 and the Holdsworths joining Briffa is far from a done deal.

Hard to tell with the issues that they had. I've seen Jeremy's car run well in XR6T spec at OP though and it seemed quite good. They've not had a great run with the car lately though, broke acrank at Morgan Park and then a few issues at Sandown.... hope they can get it sorted with a little help from Ted robinson who they are teamed with for Bathurst.

Holty mentioned that Barry was going to run B12 with his son Nathan. Not sure on the 3rd driver though. Undecided if he will run the 2010 Championship - at this stage, just B12 as he concetrates on Nathan's career at the moment.

Any news anyone? I suppose everything has slowed down over the Xmas break. The website hasn't been updated for nearly three weeks either.
