Marshals Heroes Badges

Eric Ridler, the BMMC National Regalia Officer would like to know if any of you would be interested in a Jim Bamber "Heroes" cloth badge for your overals. The badges are approx 3 x 4 inches and should cost around £3 each. If you are interested could you drop Eric an e-mail as he needs to guage interest before placing any orders with the suppliers.

Eric can be contacted at bmmc.nro@ntlworld.com

I take it the badges will have marshals in orange rather than the yellow in the thumbnail?

For those of you worried about the colour (yes, it does look yellow!), the real thing will look more like this:

I have spoken to Eric this morning who would like to thank everyone for their e-mails. Judging from the initial response Eric will be going ahead with ordering the badges which should be available within the next two months. When they are finished I will let you know how to order and pay, probably by cheque and SAE.

Keep e-mailing your interest and lets try to get a few more people ready to buy the badges.

Might I suggest a higher price for the badges to drivers, with the funds going back to the "heroes". A nice way for us to give our support and show it.

I'm more than happy that they want one. Do they have to go on the ovies, or can I sew them on anything? Well when I say, 'I', I don't do my own sewing. Not if I want it to stay on...
