True.!!!!!!
But where do you buy a kit with a Scott Bargwanna included.
That might have been the key component.
Great effort though. Promises to liven up Aust GT this season.

Great looking car.

In 2010 Lotus will launch a new Esprit. Probably it will be powered by a V8 from BMW.

I hope they will build a GT2 or GT3 version.

I don't know. I'll do some checking with my contacts. I am going to assume the car is not ready though.

With this amount of modification (everything changed but the chassis), why not run it in higher classes or against opponents not using 7-8 liter engines? It looks impressive but I guess it couldn't even be ACO-compliant with all these modifications... It will be interesting to see how it does in the end.

They are essentially doing the same thing that the Caddy and the S60R did . . . I highly modified version of an existing car using "look a like" parts that are not originals.

Just about ALL race cars are silhouette of the street versions you see every day. or once in a while. Very few are the actually cars, except the 997 RS, RSR & F430 GTC

The Lotus GT3 in its 1st season of the British GT 2006 won the GT3 team honors and was right on the pace of the 997 & DBRS9.... so hardly a disaster.

2007 was on the other hand because Cadena (the factory supported team) & Lotus seemed to have a bit of a bust up as they tried to take the engine to 350+hp with no internal changes and boom. Time to fix these issues took too long & cadena moved away from Lotus.

The Lotus GT3 cars are a great weapon.

Any new info on the homologation of the Lotus for GT or the Scion for TC? both are shown as classified but not homologated as of yet.
