Photoshop 6.0 help needed!

When i open images in Photoshop, the pictures look so much darker than when i open them with any other pictureviewer/editor.

Anybody who knows how to solve this?

I don't thionk that you need to "solve" the problem with Photoshop, more likely to solve the problem that other photoediting software have.... Anyway, you need to do some calibration work there, also to consider the "mode" you are working. Remember, Photoshop do not edit pictures for the screen, they do it for profesional printing!

I edited the color managing profile to one of my printer profiles and it looks much better now.

Thanks!
