Carl Haas

Just read the news that Carl Haas passed away in 86. He teamed up with Paul Newman back in the 80's to form Newman Haas racing and had seen much success. Definitely a team from my early years of watching motor racing that all always remember. Rest easy, Mr Haas.

Well he had a good life. Running a successful team with Paul Newman, running some great drivers, including Mario, Our Nige and the Seabass and literally being a cigar chomper, don't think that was ever lit!

Maybe he's up there now with Paul running Justin Wilson again. RIP
