Prelude To The Dream - June 6, Eldora Speedway
Well today, I got up close and personal to Danica's dirt late model car that she will run at Eldora this year... Man is that cockpit small and tight!!!

Yep but have to agree with DF. Especially the low roof.

Why are they called Late Models?
Why is the bodywork above the wheels so high, thus making it so hard to get into/ out off the car? |

They should have a late-model dirt race on the Cup calendar. Doesn't Charlotte have a dirt track? They could do it midweek between the All Star race and the 600.
Imagine these guys in heats and finals, for points! Fantastic. |
