Simon Pullan - Lands British GT Drive

According to Autosport this week Simon Pullan (sometime poster on this forum) has signed with Rollcentre Racing to drive their TVR Tuscan R with Martin Short. Good work young man, you like to tell us about it?

He was on line a few hours ago. He must be very shy. Or humble.

Anyway, big CONGRATS Simon!

Thanks everyone, I'm absolutely extatic. It's a dream come true for me to be driving the Tuscan R this year, and yes, we definitely have a shot at the title. I'm off to Daytona with Martin next week just to help out, cups of tea here, wheels washed there, but we hope to start testing the Tuscan as soon as we get back and there is an engine availible.

I can't wait!

Yes, very well done indeed, Simon. Regular updates on your progress, if you please! (and details of life as a "gopher" at Daytona as well?!).

The 'official' ten tenths international racing teams.

Le Mans: LotusGTP Team
British GT: Rollcentre Racing (Simon Pullan)
ALMS: Alex Job Racing (or I won't here the end of it from Liz )

Great stuff, good luck to all of you. Thanks for entertaining us and do keep us in touch with your progress. Makes watching a whole lot more interesting when you feel you know some of the guys out there.

Well it was certainly hot out there but I had a great deal of fun. In the end I was relieved of my duties as gopher when Martin changed from the Mosler to the Konrad Saleen. That meant I had much more of a chance to watch the race and I loved it. I'll tell you all more later.

Steady AllonFS,
Got a feeling the 10-tenths Clio V6 Trophy team might even be a fraction more international than the Brit GTs...
Congrats to Simon, guys obviously got a great press officer (but I want her back as soon as possible please?). Might be an interesting year with Martin who is not known for his "diplomacy"...

Rick, I let you have her for a week whilst I was in America. Wasn't that enough for you?
