Sad to hear of the passing of Robin Mortimer owner of BGT Team RPM. Always seemed to race for the right reasons, to his son Alex and Family condolences

Very sad to hear of Robin's passing. I met him last August in Silverstone with my brother in law Matt Griffin (Robin was very much a part of Matt's recovery after his horror shunt in Goodwood a few years ago). A more decent, welcoming and approachable man, you couldn't hope to meet.
My condolences to Alex and the rest of the family. |

I met Robin and Alex one winter evening in 2003 at Hilton Park services.
We had arranged this as I was buying a few handbuilt 1/43 IMSA Jags from him. What a lovely fella, truly he was. He offered, that if I could get there a couple of weeks after the meeting, Alex to take me around Spa in one his team's Radicals!!! (I couldn't make it). Sincerest to all his family and friends. |

He was a dear friend, always there to help when needed. He ll be sadly missed.

only just found out, spoke to robin a few times and he really was a nice guy who would do anything to help anyone. a sad loss.
thoughts go to all his family and friends at this time! |
