New Motorsport show on Radio
This just in...
Melbourne has anew "All sports" radio station called SEN on 1116AM. Accodring to a report, Friday nights will be dedicated to the "rev-heads" with a show called "Panel Beaters" hosted by Cromley, joined each week by a guest V8SC driver. Yay, about time... |

Yep that's correct.
There used to be a motoring program on the former 3AK, with a fair motorsport content, but that got the flick at the start of the year. Let's hope the show is a beauty. |

 - they've just renamed themselves to try and boost ratings from nothing to just above nothing...

Interesting pic of nights. Friday is one of the best nights to go to air if you want to really limit your available listening audience - not meaning to sound critical though.

Sent this off to Telstra who usually reply.............
Telstra / *****_ Are you going to broadcast the show *The Panelbeaters* which I believe is now on 4AK or now SEN in Melbourne on Friday nights.. They are using some of the Network 10 commentators. Telstra did the pilot on the Basement last year and it was very popular / even an audio feed or delayed audio feed through this site would be ok. Thanks v/tex |

We can only hope with the news of pay tv going to 100 channels with digital that we will finally get a channel dedicated to Motorsport like speedvision in the states. I thought the basement format was great.

Does anyone from Sydney listen to the "World on Wheels" program on 2SER - FM107.3 ??????
It's on on Saturday Mornings (I'm told). It actually starts back next weekend (Australia Day Weekend) at 9am. I had the pleasure of meeting the Motor Sports Editor at Eastern Creek last year. He seemed really enthusiastic about the show, and making sure that it is of top quality. |

Not sure I will be around for the 1st broadcast of 2004, but I can recall listening in the past.
Its an interesting mix... worth the effort for sure

Same details as the other website...
I remember my parents having an old Healing radio that used to have the name of all the AM radio stations on it, able to go anywhere in Australia, and you could find a station... with the changes all the time... it would be nigh on useless today

I heard the first two shows will be live on air debates with week 1 been Ingall and Skaife talking about on track behavior and driving standards and week two with our very own Gtr Magic and Bradley Jones discussing facts and rumors of the motorsport world.....
