jslone should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Gas mileage,build better engines?

All of the teams seems to know how long each track is and some teams it also seems to have a problem with gas mileage.Should the teams build better engines, should NAscar adopt fuel injection and should NAscar stop the 1 engine rule for each race.

The races this year do seem to have taken to Fuel Miliage Drama. Frankly- it's getting kinda boring. I'm craving some wheel to wheel action when the boldness & talent of a driver determines the outcome of a race & not how much fuel is in the tank.

As for the engines- You can build them for good gas miliage or you can build them for strength & power. Hard to do both at the same time.

Fuel injection???? Come on John (B-day week boy ) This is NASCAR. NASCAR doesn't want anything that would be capable of hiding the dreaded Traction Control. That won't be happening fast.

very true, carbs are best to keep costs and performance aids away. now as far as fuel milage goes, and power, wel true enough they can't have both and fuel strategy has always been part of racing although less racing like Craven and Busch happens than we'd like it to.
maybe 1.5 mile tracks should exist less and less mile and smaller even 1.0388 mile tracks work but those "speedways" and "superspeddways" are less speedy and less super every year

If you go to fuel injection, you'll inevitably get traction control, _and_ fuel mileage runs become even easier to calculate.

NASCAR is avoiding anything "high tech" & they make the rules.
