2010 Le Mans Photo Competition
This is an extract from an ACO press release that arrived in my inbox recently.
I have not looked at the terms and conditions for any rights grab or other nonsense that these sort of competitions often come with......so beware. But you all fancy yourselves as photo artists  so enjoy.Get your lens and join the contest ! The Council of Sarthe organizes a photo contest about the world of automotive endurance topic, Sarthe Endurance Photos, in partnership with Automobile Club de l’Ouest, Union des journalistes de sport en France and Auto hebdo. With two separate categories (professional and amateur photographers), the contest is wide open and photographers can upload their pictures on www.endurancephotos.sarthe.com. The shots must have been made in 2010 season on Circuit de la Sarthe (24 heures), Le Mans series and Asian Le Mans Series. The jury composed with journalists and sports people will name the best pictures in October. For the « professional » category: 3000 €, 1500 € and 500 € can be won. |

The 2001/2011 confusion is a typo.............the competition is being run by the Sarthe General Council, it looks like the proof reader was on holiday or at lunch................... Unfortunately the Jury's identity remains a secret so bribery and corruption will have to wait.
