F1 2010 Questions and Answeres
HI GUys,

IM doing a career at the moment, im at williams and during practice for spain i could'nt get higher than 14th and was 0.5 sec of Barrachello. The team advised he was faster and i should copy his set-up however when i came into the garage i could not find it???

Does anyone know how to see your team mates settings in career?

Good point - I've heard this, too, but I've not seen anything.

Here's a question:

Anyone know how to do gestures??? I've seen in various clips drivers waving their hand signalling to 'move over', yet there's no controls for it. I quite wanted to do this

Nah, it was 200% definitely 'in-game'. It had all the speedometer etc. I specifically remember the clip:

It was a Red Bull at Monza on the grid, and whomever was driving started waving his hand as if to say "move out of the way"

So each topic stays on topic. One is pre the games release, one is on our lap times and one is for queries and questions of the inner workings of the game. If they wern't necessary they would have been merged. Why it needs questioning is beyond me

Yeh it's fine as it is. It's better than being a complete mess of a topic that'd eventually be closed.. I can see why it's annoying if you havn't purchased it, though

erm, am I stupid or just completely blind, because I can't seem to find the menu where I can change the flag setting, AI diffuculty etc.? the menus are pretty confusing I must say!

I had the same problem, mate. For ages, we just couldn't find where to change the annoyingly hard flag settings.

You have to go to 'Grand Prix', then check out the settings on that! It'll then carry it over in to Time Trials.

I promise you mate, it wasn't on an advert. I'm pretty accustomed to developers showing off non in-game footage and trying to pass it off otherwise, but this footage was taken from a mobile phone at one of the gaming festivals where they had a 3 lap demo. I remember the car specifically being a Red Bull, on the grid, where there was clearly a button activating the hand signal

But thanks anyways, guys.

C'mon guys, no need to have trouble over something so small as this.

I've not come across footage like that, but if it was a development build there is the possibility it was something which was there but taken out of the finished (relatively speaking) game.
