G-R should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

As we look forward to the future, a lot of things lie ahead. We have to make decisions relating to every day life. A new day. A new beginning. A new decision. A new series.
As we look at the wonderful cars in Gran Turismo 2, we wonder how the hell they made such a great product.

As we look in real life at some of the touring car championships, we wonder what it would be like to actually race in it. In a series that is structured so accurately, you'll think your actually competing in real life.

Everything is real. The competion. The rev of your engine. The roar of the crowd. And the smell of petrol (rub disc and smell. Don't get high).

And as a new beginning arises, you look no further then the International PAL Touring Car Championship.

Introucing, the IPTTC.
This series is based on the BTTC. I had originally planned on my own BTCC series, but I needed help. Then, there was one Scorpion, who was making a series of his own, The ATCC, very similar to my idea of the BTCC. Anyhow, while talking at the EZGTchat chat room, we found that both series were very simliar in the way they were going to be run.
"we should team up" Said Scorpion, and from there it went on, to becoming the new beginning in GT2 series.

The cars used, are going to be similar to the BTCC cars, and a few other thrown in aswell, to give more availability. More on that tomorrow.
Nothing has been decided about the points system yet, but it'll be most likely like none ever seen before(well, maybe not).
There will be a constructors championship too. 2 to a team, or maybe 3 to a team, who knows? More tomorrow.
Tracks. Nothing sorted out yet, we've just started the 'new beginning'.
This series is only for PAL GT2's only, so NTSCer's aren't allowed in. We may open a NTSC series if this is big.

We need you!
We need you to make this a success! Please, tell us if you want to race in this series! Tell us by going here, registering an replying to this topic. The whole thing will be run at these forum, so if you want in, you're gonna have to go to this place.
I'm not chasing anyone away from this place, it's just that the founders of the PTCC, Scorpion and I, have decided to run it there, as it's the GT forums.

PTCC: A New Beginning...............

why not use TOCA 2? - I'm sure there's a wider ownership of that.

So, how does this work? How do you actually race one another? There is no provision for internet play. Do you just compare lap times? I have almost all of the cars you have on your list built up and ready to go, but how do I compete head to head with someone across the planet. And why do you keep the PAL and NTSC machines separated, does the clocking speed affect your lap times?

wait, wait, wait. We still gotta figure out these things. Just be a little more patient.
It's gonna be fasest lap (or 2) wins. It was originally a PAL only, because we though it would be something different. But who knows, we'll figure it out, and when we do you'll be told.
