IMPORTANT UPDATE:

I'm not sure if any of you picked Franck Pererra in your picks, but Conquest Racing replaced him today with Jamie Camara due to the team's sponsor, OPUS Prime, going into receivership last month.

Camara will be sponsored by Sangari, but apparently would be bringing some $$$ to make up for the shortfall caused by losing OPUS Prime.

If you need to make a change, just post it here and be sure to let me know where you picked Pererra. I'll edit your picks appropriately.

If you do have him selected, but do not submit a change, I will count Camara in that spot.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I was mowing my yard when qualifying was occurring.

Dixon set the fast lap and avg., but I do not have a speed for the lap only a time from NAC's link.

I'm going to try to find a speed conversion chart for a 1.5 mile oval so I can score the quals properly, but if I can't the only three who had fast lap in the 214 mph range were Daisy, NAC & ProRacer....the quick lap had to be over 214, but less than 215 range, because the 4-lap average was just under 214 mph.

If I can't find one, I'll just give them both 2 pts. each.

I'd rather be lucky than smart...the iRL just posted the Qual Section times, which has the fast lap speed for Dixon...

Here are your Quals results:

Daisy, ProRacer, drdisque, ThePenguin, Alwaysfirst, NAC and Drewdawg all had Dixon for pole for 2 pts.

NAC also was closest to the 4-lap avg for two, plus th bonus...see his post above...AMAZING PICK!!!!!

Daisy, OpenWheel and ThePenguin also had Dixon for fast lap for 2 pts.

NAC was closest ot the fast lap speed: Actual - 214.051 NAC - 214.222

In the Top Six, Daisy, drdisque, Peno ThePenguin and drewdawg all had 5 pts each. Captain crunch had 3 pts, and all others had 4 pts. each

Here is how I scored the "slow" driver. Moraes did not have a time so technically he is not the slowest, but he will start last on the grid. I'll give one point for Moraes, and 2 for bruno. Everyone but Alwaysfirst, NAC and Captain crunch had Moraes for 1 pt. each

Captain was closest to the slow speed: Actual - 208.022 Captain - 207.723

No one picked Roth for the Just Miss," but OpwnWheel, drdisque, Peno, ThePenguin, MattCatt and drewdawg all had drivers who made the Top Six for 1 pt. each.

Totals thus far:

1. The Penguin - 11 pts.
2. Daisy - 10 pts.
(tie) NAC - 10 pts.
4. drdisque - 9 pts.
(tie) drewdawg - 9 pts.
6. OpenWheel - 8 pts.
7. ProRacer - 7 pts.
(tie) Peno - 7 pts.
(tie) Alwaysfirst - 7 pts.
10. CaptainCrunch - 5 pts.
(tie) mattcatt - 5 pts.

Good Luck in the Race!
