I have only seen race 1 so I can't comment on Mr Plato yet.
But I am so pleased that Colin won the championship he has been class of the field all year and has been several times he is World Class and he is nice chap as well. |

Yes, absolutely, Turkington was the classiest, cleanest and best driver in BTCC this year.
I've always tended to give Plato the benefit of doubt as well but I think that move on Turkington in the second race was about the last straw. No, there was no gap worthy of the name, there, Jason, unless of course you thought you were driving a matchbox toy! Trouble is, he compounds it by offering no apology nor showing any contrition. The shame of it all is that there is no doubt he is a fine driver with a fine racing brain, but seemingly, no humility. |

I was watching at Paddock for the second race - that was the most predictable move in the history of the world. Plato is behind Turkington and you just know he's going to punt him. I don't think anyone around me was surprised, there were several people calling Plato many unprintable names

At the end of the day though the best driver won the championship. A bit gutted for Adam Morgan though - after Platos assault on Turkington was penalised Morgan was given the win but he didn't get to stand on the top step of the podium for his first win. Morgan passing Plato for the lead was a popular move with the crowd though (and there was an audible groan when Plato got back past him). |

Plato's got it in his head that he's playing the role of pantomime villain.
With all the implications on what that says about the series... |

I wonder if Ian Harrison needs to go to Specsavers for his next pair of rose-tinted spectacles. From TCT:
“It’s going to sound like sour grapes, but it isn’t. Colin’s a good mate of mine, and he’s done a great job with what he’s been given. “I don’t need to go into the whys and wherefores of rear-wheel drive versus front-wheel drive here, but the bottom line is Jason’s been the class of the field. “He’s the best driver on the grid, and he’s driven better this year than I can remember seeing from him for a while.” |

Did you expect anything else from him? It's not like he's going to say anything bad about his chicken with the golden eggs

Expensive weekend.
Turkington is the deserved champion. Great season. Looking forward to silly season. |

Colin's a good mate of mine but he doesn't put bread on my table so he's not a particularly great driver. Colin took the title because his car is rear wheel drive not because we couldn't get the MG to work as well as WSR could get the BMW going. Jason is the best driver on the grid because he keeps my wife in new frocks and shoes and I need to say that this season is the best I've ever seen him drive because there's a possibility that he might be taking his loot some place else. |
