Gerard should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This is an article that appeared at Autorace.com exactly one year ago:

quote:
Most of the drivers are complaining that Formula One is becoming boring and blames the few opportunities for overtaking for much of the lack of thrill.

They have asked for a serious overview of the technical regulations in an effort to bring back some thrill to the Formula One arena.
Former world champion Damon Hill said F1 team bosses should take the matter serious as the current regulations has taken the sport into a blind alley.

Polls conducted also indicated that it is not only the drivers that are becoming bored with F1, but also the motorsport fans.
Most of them indicated that more than 95% of the fans are bored with the situation at present.
They blame poor television coverage as well as a lack of on-track action for the deterioration of interest in the sport.

Congratulations to the FIA for totally ignoring the concerns shared by the drivers and the fans.
I think that deserves a prize.
I hereby bestow them with the 'Sour Grapes Cup', for being a bunch of totally ignorant stupid ba...sorry, have to take my pills now.

All Bernie cares about is that the FIA just keep sending his cheques.

But Bernie can't live forever and if there is a merciful God, Ron Dennis will not take his place when he goes. Let us start a "Draft Ken Tyrrel" campaign ... or failing that, Tom Walkinshaw!

Let's get people in there who care about racing - and failing that, who know it when they meet up with it.

Ken Tyrrell for FIA President! Brilliant.

The question is whether he would want the role, but damn, he'd be perfect.

Oh could you imagine F1 with Ken Tyrrel in charge! How excellent would it be!

I Wonder if there really is anyway we, the fans, could influence the decision making process.
