Buick V6 Indy Lights parts

Among my other Historic racing projects, I am trying to re-vitalize the unique Scandinavian Cheek C288 sports-racer, that ran a Ford BDT and Hart 420R in period (crashed at Donington in the Interserie in 1995)

The BDT engine blew up comprehensively running in a Reynard F3000 chassis in the BOSS series many moons ago, but I recently purchased an IMSA spec 4.2 liter Buick V6 which should fit this little car very well. I am looking for a flywheel/clutch adapter to fit this engine to the Hewland FGB, as well as a pair of exhaust manifolds for this engine. As the same engine was run in Indy Lights I am hoping that someone, somewhere might know about suitable parts for the C2 car.

Try Georges Speed Shop in Dayton ,Ohio, USA. He prepared the Buick Indy Lights engines circa 2000 . Phone no is (USA) 937 233 0353. Hope he is still in business.

Formula Holden in Australia used F3000 cars with 3.8 liter Buick (Holden) V6 engines.
Assuming they are similar engines you will probably find suitable parts in Australia?

Hello
I have just bought a Tiga Buick IMSA GTP Lights car.
Tiga probably still have the patterns for a bellhousing to fit the Buick engine to the Hewland FGB/C.
I am trying to buy another engine with a bellhousing as the man is changing his car to a Porsche engine which it originally had.
I am going to have new exhaust manifolds made and the old ones could then be sold.
Send me a message with your email address and I can send pictures.
Nick

Still following up suggestions made here. If you are interested, there is an one-hour video on Youtube dealing with the history of the car. My running commentary is in Norwegian but the period footage of the car being designed and built, as well as raced, should be reasonably self-explanatory. Look for Knutspeed videos, and search out The Cheek Story
