I am slowly putting together a collection of Autosport magazines and, after a suggestion from someone else who is doing the same, I'm starting this thread in the hope that we might be able to help fill gaps in our collections. If you are interested in exchanging then post details of what you have and what you want here - in a kinda multi-coloured swap shop stylee!

Craig, its just possible I might have a spare 97 Le Mans supplement. I depends when the ACO started giving them to members in their goodie-bags. I'll have to check.

Got - 80 thru 98 with various odd issues missing
Sell - complete 90 & 93 seasons which were duplicate purchases

I visited Collectors Carbooks (see website) at Silverstone a week or so ago and they have racks and racks of Autosport which can be bought individually (1.50 each I think). Ideal to fill those little gaps in the collection. Issues available went way back.

Got your 2002 rockingham and BGP previews.

I'm looking for 21/8/03 and 13/11/03 (rally Gb review) to complete a collection going back to '87. I see you have these but understand you may not want to split a whole year run.

2 copies of the above were sent by AS as subscriber, but neither got here. Rang and rang but they were not forthcoming with any replacements then said they were sold out one week later!

1992 supplement is RoadRacers, it is sitting in a pile with Le Mans 1997 and RAC 1986. Dumped about 50 Autosports at the weekend and the rest have to go very soon.

My apologies - I've been away with work almost non stop since I initially posted this thread. My position remains the same as it was in my first posts.

Aysedasi - that'll be great - any update?

Mackmot - any news from your dad? I haven't heard from him since I mentioned I'd posted this thread?

Remus - will look and check I have those. I am not 100% certain but if I do then will swap for the two inserts you have?
Carrera - have those issues gone yet? Maybe we could work something out?

On the subject of Autosports, how about old ones......?

I ask because, as I do from time to time, I've just popped into the Oxfam bookshop just down the road (you never know what you'll find in there.

They have two bound volumes of old Autosports. The first volume (if I remember rightly), is January to June 1951 and the second covers the same period in 1952.

They're flogging them for £8.99 each. I was quite tempted, but I have no real idea of their value. If anyone thinks that's a steal and they'd be worth a lot more, I might just go back before they disappear.....
