Decent entry lists for this event including a couple of HRDC grids, F3 500s and Morgan 3-Wheelers. Last year's event was highly entertaining so more of the same I hope. It will also feature AutoSolo and Concours events as well as ‘vintage attractions'.

Outline timetable:

There's also an AutoSolo event in the morning, plus a Concours. Should be a decent day.

Race 1 was a Morgan three-wheeler race run under an ACU permit.

VSCC Oulton Park

yesterday was a real blast and an antidote to modern motorsport.
The A series race was great, despite the two rollovers we had.
Good quality entries as well, so congratulations to the VSCC and the circuit for a great days racing.
Good sportsmanship from all the drivers as well.
PS, next year, can I book a dry warm day, the box at Island reminded me of being in a colander!

That was a good day - no more than we expect from VSCC. Great cars, great racing!

KayBee says she got funny looks from her fellow marshals at Hill Top when she exclaimed "ooh, Thunderbug!" on the first lap of one of the practice sessions.

I think the last VSCC meeting I went to was about 30 years ago! Despite the odd bit of rain I thought it an excellent meeting and will certainly be going back from more.

Morning practice was horrendous with a combination of rain and oil leaving the circuit like an ice rink in places.

I was out in the 500 race and qualified 12th but made it up to 6th in the dry afternoon race. In part this move up the field was thanks to the accident at the 1st corner which eliminated a few cars - A little bit of over exuberance I feel perhaps. I did pinch 6th place on the line by a few inches which was a good feeling having had a good race long duel with one of my fellow racers.

Congratulations to young Peter de la Roche who once again drove a superb race that belies his age

If anyone has any photos of me would love to see them - car 161 Green Cooper Mk XI

Stuart,

I have some but haven't had time to go through them all yet. I'll see what I've got and post them tomorrow.

I think this may be you.
