Vauxhall have pulled out of this years BTCC.
The Vauxhall team manager Derek Warwick said today: "We (Vauxhall) are withdrawing from the 2001 BTC-C as of now because Vauxhall Managing Directors do not think Peugeot and the 406 Coupe is the target market for the Astra to be aiming at. There is no point in continuing on with the development progamme when there is no other cars on the market racing in this championship aiming at our target market (25-35 year old males)". It is believed that the team will go to the DTM works team in Germany, and the egg  port team will be loaned the three works cars Vauxhall were going to use.

Pot Noodles are the best, except for Tomato flavour.
PS - did anybody take a glance at F1 tonight? Never guess... ...somebody else led the race other than a Ferrari or McLaren!!!! |

Us lot are becoming a right lot of saddos-i think we all need the season to start. However, i go away on Thursday to the U.S. so as soon as i get back i want full reports off everybody on what i missed, OK! P.s. i get back on 22nd April, so at least ill see the highlights on Grandstand!
