Suzuka test participating team is as follows.
Honda: ARTA(#8), Dome(#18), Kunimitsu(#100), Nakajima(#32), Real(#17)
Lexus: Tom's(#1), LeMans(#6), Kraft(#35), Cerumo(#38), Sard(#39)
Nissan: NISMO(#23&#3,MI), and FIA-GT1GT-R(#350),Super-Taikyu(Endurance)GT-R(#230)
(IMPUL(#12)didn't appear because they were testing in Sepang.)
JIM GAINER: F430(#11,GT300 car), and F430(#86,FIA-GT2 car)

The driver lineup of Lexus is the same as last year excluding Bjorn Wirdheim.
Kazuki Nakajima might join Team LeMans.

There is a rumor that Team Hasemi participates in GT300(not in GT500) at this season.
In today's test, indeed, Hasemi's chassis(#3) was operated by NISMO.
In the background, there is a budget cutback of Nissan.
It is an influence of the budget cutback that NISMO changed the tire supplier into Michelin.
It is uncertain whether NISMO participate in GT500 with 2 cars.

Which mean Richard Lyons stays with Zent Cerumo.

Fastest Qualifying times at suzuka were at 1:55:xx last year. Good stuff!

Today, Lexus announced the end of the production of SC430.
So, they might participate in S-GT with LFA at the next season.

AUTOSPORT(print edition) reported that Nissan supplied 3.4-liter engine.
This engine is not production based engine but pure racing engine developed by NISMO.
If it is true, we can see a true racing.

According to Jim Gainer's official team blog,
They are testing JAF-GT300-F430 and FIA-GT2-F430 because they do not yet decide which F430 they participate in S-GT by.

Yes, it would be nice to see a straight fight between Honda, Togota and Nissan.

How badly is Nissan hurting for budget this year? I noticed that Toyota and Honda were full-strength at the test, but Nissan only had the two cars.

No Lexus LF-A (if at all) not until 2011. And then that is if it is decided to replace the SC430 with the LFA. Fingers crossed it'll happen. But then again Honda raced on with the NSX after it stopped being produced so anything's possible.

Team Tsuchiya are back with No.25!

Team Tsuchiya(Tsuchiya engineering) closed the door.
But Takeshi Tsuchiya(Son of Haruo Tsuchiya) announced that he had done the entry application to the GT300 class with "No.25" on his official blog.
It seems not to be a full season entry.
Car and drivers are announced later.

Is there any news if team Takata Dome #18 will come back or stay stick with the hardrock sponsoring?.. Liked the Takata dome more

Weren't team Nissan testing Michelin tires last year aswell.. Because they are questioning in the testreport if they will switch to Michelin (guess they will be using the Michelin tires the lmpĀ“s use, because the gt500 achive higher corner speeds)

Sports-carracing.net reported that the engine capacity of DTM in 2011 seemed to become five liters.
The union of the technical regulations of DTM and S-GT seems to be difficult.
