Nice guessing Pro Racer - Your list is more a list of who ISNT go to be there in 09.
If ex colleauges of mine are correct - we are going to see some Major changes in 2009 line up with some of the "big names" going to greener pastures and pursuing other intersts in motorsport and possibly re-emerging in enduro land. Its a case of some new ( new to main game) faces stepping up and quite a few of them at that - allegedly.

thats write there are at least 3 doing that. There are also some looking at Carrera Cup and Ute Racing, one aiming to be a team owner in the latter before 2009 begins.

how would Carrera cup be or utes be greener pastures to V8's if they are driving? interms of owning a team and still driving V8's it would be.

as for the ones looking state side would Whincup, Rick be 2 of them? NFI about the 3rd maybe Morris he had an excursion over there earlier in the year?

#18 - DJR - Jim Beam/Coca-Cola/Shell - Will Davison - FG Falcon

Britek Motorsport (Britek)
#25 - BRI - Fujitsu/CAT/Penrite - Jason Bright - FG Falcon

#021 - TNZ - Makita/Glenfords/Doric - Kayne Scott - FG Falcon
#111 - TNZ - Glenfords/Doric/Makita - Fabian Coulthard - FG Falcon

My crystal ball has said that there will be an extra car on the grid next year with Ford Dealer Team and Rod Nash Racing expanding to two cars. With question marks on Team Kiwi Racing, we could see that team join another NZ team; PCR, to create Team New Zealand.

has there been any confirmation of Will staying at DJR yet? If not, especially after today's effort, if I was Mr Johnson Snr i'd have the cheque book out. Likewise if i was Ross or Jim Stone i'd be looking closely to replace JC moving to a 3rd FPR car...

Given Happy Tom's interview in AA this week (was it just me or did the words come across as increasingly hostile??) the driving contracts of 3 of the pilots at HRT & HSVDT appear to be up in the air.

Mr Walkinshaw confirmed Mr Tander's contract is still in place, and went on to wax lyrical about how Mr Skaife is plugged into the international GM network... but fell short of guaranteeing that he would return.

A deal is not a deal until the paperwork has an autograph attached....

Where this leaves Mr R.Kelly (to JDR perhaps?) and Mr Dumbrell (to SBR #4?) is something of interest....

Meantime there have been noises that Mr Dumbrell Sr is looking to acquire Motorsport Holdings, perhaps for one each of AutoPro and Autobarn to sponsor.

Too much opportunity not enough clarity.

i noticed someone mentioned on "the another forum" that Murph isn't happy and is looking elsewhere, would he do that given it is more then likely to kill his ownership oppertunities affter driving with Tasman, where would he be looking at you can't say his current resaults would make him a prime target?

Well, with the current atmosphere at Walkinshaw's HSVDT and THRT according to AA (Cheers GTR), could we see Murph back at TWR?

You mean now or in '09?

According to AA/MN, Ford shall provide each team running a Ford product that are not directly contracted (i.e. 888, DJR, Britek, PCR, FRSR) the equivalent of $100k for each new FG chassis run in the '09 main game. The $100k is alleged to be made of an upfront payment of $50k plus parts equivalent to the balance.

Similarly, those teams with drive cars provided by Ford will allegedly remain in place. So for example, 888's drivers each have Ford cars allocated to them, and this will continue.

Ford's requirement for the '09 funding of the non-contracted teams is allegedly not contingent on receiving space on the windscreen as has happened this (and in past) seasons.

Meantime, the 2 contracted teams, are presumably enjoying a significant level of Ford largesse beyond their current level.

The tales around SBR were that Ford were supplying somewhere around $1m per car to that squad... whether in kind, in parts, in financial support for SBRE or similar...

... while FPR is rumoured to be absorbing $6m a season of Ford's funds, up until this season, when it fell to $5m per season (or $2.5m per car)

If these 4 cars are now "Factory" Fords, presumably the Ford dollars on a per car basis would be rebalanced to be the same

Presuming any of this actually happened
