Supercars Overseas

In another thread, GTR Magic identified this article, about an ex PWR HRT chassis sold to the UK.

http://www.v8supercars.com.au/newsar.../default.aspx#

The article mentions that there are "at least" seven or eight Supercars sold into the UK in the last 5 years with yet more sold to Europe and Malaysia.

Which got me thinking, as to which ones they might be.

I can think of the following examples where cars have gone overseas in the the last few years:

UK

ex PWR AU #2
ex PWR AU#4
ex Tratt AU
ex PWR HRT#47

NZ

ex PWR AU#3 (reskinned to TKR BA ride car)
ex Perkins VT#35 (TKR)
ex Perkins VT#36 (TKR)
ex PMM Frank VY (TKR)
ex BJR AU (#2?)
ex Briggs Motorsport BA#6 (ex PCR)

Malaysia

ex Briggs Motorsport AU (#3?) (ex Matthew White reskinned to BA)

Europe

????

Feel free to correct and add to the list!!

The Carters have 2 or 3 Supercars for memory. Craig Corliss use to lease a Carters car - not sure exactly how it all works.

Then there's the two Supercars down in Taupo that run honest ride days with Frosty and Johnny Mac often steering them. These cars have been used to promote the ITM 400, although I believe that one is currently in Carters (Building Supplies) livery - not to be confused with the Carter family (Carters Tyres) as mentioned above.

There was also another AU in the South Island, I believe, that was used for the Endurance Series. Not sure of history or ownership.

The ex Bruce Oaklands / Bluestone Racing Perkins VZ has just gone to NZ. I have no idea of which chassis number it actually is.

Are the supercars at Taupo not ex WPS?

The Bluestone VZ is the ex Slade chassis (#42).

Are the WPS cars the two original ex 00 Motorsport chassis? I guess they must be as the newer WPS chassis is the one run by Rod Dawson. Who bought the cars? Are they just used for ride days?

They are used for ride days and I think the intention is to do some endurance racing in them.

Not sure about ownership.
