Wow, looking at those 2 links above, there seems absolutely no resemblance atall between the 2 nose sections, even the light clusters are completely different. They look like 2 different cars.

Per DSC it would seem that at Spa the two ART/SMP Dallaras will run low df aero, and Dragonspeed high df

Jenson might not necessarily like the gap to Toyota come LM, or if/when AER decides to blow up, but when his Dallara hits 350-360kph (?) on Mulsanne he might have a smile on his face for a while

The high df you mean?
IDK maybe they want the waiver-Bronzer to stay on track but seriously I don't think they really care about performance, this seems to be the ultimate slow-but-steady effort. And I guess it gives Dallara extra data (dunno what the Nederlands LMP2 is doing) |

I think it was on S365 where it said that Dragonspeed had way more data/comfort level running in that config so wanted to keep it that way for the first race. They aren't running for the win after all.

Right, and they had more laps with it at the Prologue. Seems they are faster than the low d/f packaged teams too so far.

Not a great start to the season for the car. First shunt, first driver KO.

Accidents happen, and chassis/tubs can be repaired in lengthy gaps there are, but the mechanical gremlins for the ART car(s) are more worrying . Not that any chassis equipped with AER is gonna have smooth sailing prediction but you know

I donno if there's any correlation, but Petrov broke his arm in a test accident in the same car (type). Hopefully it's just a coincidence.

Third big shunt of Dallara-born BR in less than six months. Scary stuff!

BR01 have matched the highest speed in Spa.
I recall that the Dallara P217 has also matched the highest speed in Le Mans last year. It seems to be a trademark of Dallara Joke a side, they might go to far in one direction and does look enought on the grip of the car |

It's evolution of the P2 Dallara, obviously the features of it were always gonna carry out to the P1.
I don't quite understand what happened at Spa, both #17 and #11 had trouble with CLM, but later on #17 was also able to complete with the Orecas on pace (even dismissing the effect of safety cars). #11 seemed to have other problems as well... |

I think we could be in for a great Le mans battle between them. With Toyota cooking gear box oil after 6 hours of spa there may well be surprises! |

Caddy has done to the P2 car? I wouldn't take anything in BoP formula like DPi for granted.
Anyway this is bit worrying With two destroyed cars, Dallara could be faced with a significant parts shortage leading up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with no spare BR1 tubs understood to be currently available. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/d...tipaldi-crash/ |

Nothing worse than having a big shunt and not knowing what caused it. Who knows if they will be at Le Mans?

Elton Julian really does not mince his words.
I can't believe how much of a mess privateer LMP1 is right now less than a month away from test day. |

Has anything about the Isaakyan crash been clarified, especially whether or not it was airborne beforehand? People at the circuits say it was but have yet to se any proof of this. Hope it wasn't...
