The "road course" layout I like,

Has a hint of Nurburgring about it in places.

The overall shape looks pretty good. That kind of quick final corner looks very nice. I like some of those curved stretches you have in there.

I do have a few thoughts on revisions though. You may want to look at the alignment of the run-offs around Turn 2. Also, there's a visual thing going on here. That is, your track appears wider than it should be, and this mpacts how other percieve the length, as well as whether we think the run-offs look adequate next to the track. It's something you should keep in mind as you continue to post designs.

I count 19 corners on the track, and I'm using that as a guide here with these next few suggestions.

First, I think Turn 7 (bottom center) should maybe be eased, and then you could have a lazy right and left to get the road realigned with the present run into Turn 8 at the end of that straight. I say this, because i think that second link road, for the International Circuit, could use a bit more space for run-off, and it would also be slightly beneficial to the overall flow of the circuit at the same time.

Second, it seems silly to have a tight chicane (Turns 10-12) right after a tight corner (Turn 10). I would just have the road continue straight on out of 10, and meet up with what will then be a more open right-hand bend at Turn 13.

Finally, the Turn 15-17 chicane isn't awful, but I'd just as soon have one, long right-hand curve leading into the final two corners. Have it start at about the same place Turn 15 does in your depiction, but have it be more open, so it stays to the outside of the first part of the chicane. Then, as it continues have it come to the inside of Turn 17 for the latter part. Maybe align the exit such that Turn 18 is opened up a bit also.

Even with these changes, you end up going from 19 corners, with 10 slow to medium-speed turns, to 16 corners, with 8 slow to medium-speed turns; the lap length won't go down by much at all. Most of the circuit remains untouched, and the F1 guys don't have to worry about the track having been turned into Monza.

After having said all that though, your original layout is still very good to begin with.

EDIT: The oval looks like a nice intermediate speedway. The roval, well, I don't know, but it's hard to get those to come out really well anyway. Don't worry about it too much.

I like both your designs, reminds me of my own a little bit!

I agree with Purist the runoffs need to be rearranged as they're not where they should be, one thing I don't like, is the first corner being a big braking , ultra tight corner, that's a sure signs of T1 pileups in all forms of racing.I don't dare telling you what to do, but I'd say something can be done. Other than that, I like both designs, though you seem to have a taste for ultra small radiused corners!

It is kind of wide, I think that T1 should stay as it is, and that T 15-17 are kind of unnecessary.

I like the roval.

Again, the road course is too wide for its length.

But the whole complex is a very nice use of space.

One problem, though: right by Orlando is Sebring, and Daytona and Homestead are close as well, and of course there's the St. Pete IndyCar race... so Florida is pretty much covered. Try the Northeast... that's seems like a developing region for new circuits!
