I saw that clip, it came with an e-mail saying more or less the same thing.

I laughed when he gestured behind him and said the ticketing team is busy. There were just 3-4 people, not doing much. They should have had Mark Miles in the background doing some serious paper shuffling.

This could be a Monty Python sketch

But I have no reason to panic as long as the tickets arrive before mid-May. My flight to O'Hare departs on the 23rd of May.

No panic either. I'm leaving on the 26th to Dulles and then get a connecting flight to Indianapolis.

Same stand our seats were in . We were row G 1993($65) and Row F
for 1989($50) and 1994($65).

Very good views of pit road action, scoring pylon is there, great view
of the start going into 1 and half way in the shoot.

We enjoyed going to the Public Drivers Meeting on Saturday morning.
Museum is a must.

Good stop for food - http://unionjackspeedway.com/. We had an interesting
conversation with Robbie Gordons dad there. St. Elmo is a bit pricey but worth the stop at an iconic place.http://www.stelmos.com/

Another thing that made life easier on race day was taking a shuttle from down town Indy to and from the track.

Have a blast!

Thanks for the tips canamman. I'll check out the restaurants and definitely plan on seeing the museum on Saturday.

Formulahistory should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
And Stefan Wilson is very likely to drive the 3rd KV car.

So just one spot to fill. Could be Legge with Grace (no running team found yet), or Saavedra with AFS - the same problem.
Michael Shank could enter Chaves, what would be very nice.

With 34 entries anticipated, a Chaves/Shank/Honda partnership would push the number to 35. Dale Coyne could also have an available seat in one of its Indy-only programs that would be a good fit for Chaves.

This is a bit OT, but do you have any recommendations for cities which would be worth visiting during the post-race days (from Monday till Wednesday)?

Originally, I planned to drive back to Chicago on Monday and then take the train to Ann Arbor, MI but Amtrak screwed up with their new summer schedules. So it seems that I'll extend my rental car pediod and choose an other direction with a little bit shorter distance.

I think I'll slightly backtrack on this statement - nice job with the tie-in to Driven2SaveLives/Indiana Donor Network. The livery itself... meh. Kind of looks like a kid's paintbox to me. Gap Guard makes a product that, well, er... I really don't get the point of.

Thanks for the advice. Louisville looks like a place to go after Indy.

It's the 2nd of May and no tickets. Time to call the IMS office tonight and ask are they going to ship them in July or September.

Much as I admire the motivation for doing this (with the pink campaign and all) - this is getting very tired. She'll run around at the back as usual. I wish this seat could go to someone who might actually provide some interesting racing. No idea who that might be, mind you.
