Who will step out of the economic shadows to sponsor Brawn F1?

Well it wont be Woolworths will it!

Microsoft?
Man United? (Ross is a fan remember)
Guiness?
Specsavers?

well Man united are sponsored by AIG and i dont think they've got any spare cash right now.
The good situation for Brawn Gp is they've got a clean canvas for a major sponsor to decorate, and if what they say is right they've got enough cash to do the whole season.
I think there may be a few sponsors on board after the first few gp's, even a few before melbourne perhaps.

Shame that they don't want the sponsor-for-a-race basis, it would be great to see a car changing sponsors along the year, like Theodore Racing or Team Fittipaldi in 1981.

Surely if Man United sponsored them the wheels would come off.

I hope Gillette sponsor them. Maybe JB will get rid of his awful face fuzz.

But then again..........

Brawn racing sponsored by King of Shaves / Wilkinson Sword / Remmington

The copywriters would have a field day

Working in the marketing depatment at Brawn GP must be a good place to be at the moment.

I would think even in the current climate, with the amount of exposure the Brawn squad is getting, big deals must be sat on a many a blue chip desk waiting to be signed.

If the car produces in Melbourne I would imagine there won't be enough sticker space on the car !

With Richard Branson expressing an interest for the future, this could be a good way to test the water rather than buying outright?

Brawn Virgin GP ?

Ross does not want Branson money. Branson never spends any of his money. He delivers the
name but never the dosh. Nightmare to have on board.

There is simply no comeback to that.

I reckon Fyffes would be a good bet to sponsor the team.

Personally i hope its either castrol because i think the car would look neat with green and red or a sponsor with blue corporate colors because blue cars always look good and we dont have any at the moment.

Gulf livery anyone...? Looks fantastic on almost anything, unsure about a Formula One car though.

It's a shame the Audi R15 looks like it's another winner, that pretty much rules out VAG.

The only people with the cash I can see wanting to try their luck and risking loosing so much would be Middle Eastern Oil or Russian Utilities folk.

Look at the bottom of this page.
I think these are their sponsors. Probably not worth much because the names are barely legible.

I wouldn't be very optimistic seeing as they stopped sponsoring Montoya in NASCAR but can you imagine a black and red Texaco Havoline car

Isn't this world funny ? Go figure, Petrobras has just announced a historic profit record in its balance... and they drop off their F1 programme.
