Easter Weekend!

You can't beat an Bank Holiday weekend for lots of racing - probably every circuit in the UK has a race meeting of some description, if not every, plus around the world there's loads!
We already know about Classic Racing in the South East, what else is going on, and where is everyone?

I should be out at Snetterton for 750MC - first races of the season for the Vees and Stock Hatches, so should be busy!

Must be the worst weekend since before WW2! No round of any major series or International race.

It's a bit extreme but I can only presume that they've moved the circuit in an attempt to try and avoid another noise order.

I think he meant "South West"! As Easter weekends go it is actually very quiet...

I need to perfect my "Naughty Elephants Squirt Water"...

Yes, it is actually quieter than normal - probably due to falling earlier in the year than normal, but I think a lot of it is seeming quieter than it is due to Rob's point about there being no 'big' meetings on.
Not sure how a lack of big meetings makes it such a 'bad' weekend though. Different for sure - but not necessarily bad. May encourage people who normally find a big meeting to go to on Bank Holiday end up trying a clubbie meeting for a first time... That's just me wishful thinking though.

Not even much to watch on TV-only NASCAR Busch on Saturday night.

7 clubbies, when combining that with Sprints, bikes, RallyX and anything else that's on the only permanent circuits with nothing on are Knockhill, Anglesey, Pembrey and Rockingham. Hardly "very quiet" - but not too busy, which is good as regards spreading spectators/marshals/drivers that we always complain about when every circuit has a meeting on...
There's even a big meeting for you Rob - first round of the British Superbikes at Brands!

For the midlands based people, how about HSCC@Donington on Sunday, followed by BRSCC@Mallory on Monday?

I'll be there bright and early (don't want to miss practice - some of the cars don't last any longer than that ). I'll probably be in my usual spot between paddock and the startline (hopefully my camera battery will last a bit longer this time too).

I guess you'll be on startline duty Gnomex? I hope the jumpstart beams behave themselves and don't take too much damage this time!

I will be joining Asp and Chezza at Snetterton for the 750MC, looking forward to my first weekend of 2005 in orange.
Tuesday I will be heading off to Donny to get my first BTCC fix of the year after that I'm on leave so I'm counting down the days!

Looks like it's Silverstone on the Saturday for Britcar, Snetterton on Sunday for the 750mc and Monday will either be back at Snetterton or down to Lydden for the Rallycross - I'll decide on Sunday night!
