With a bit of jig time and a decent engineer working on them there's no reason why they can't be at the sharp end.
That's why Engineers/Designers like Carl Faux and Geoff Kingston are so valued...NGTC cars are SO specific. The drivers that can get a time out of the cars in qualifying, and also look after tyres etc in the races are the really good ones...it takes a while to really get on top of it....unless you're Sutton, Ingram, or Hill...the three young drivers that have impressed most with their ability to drive the cars properly

That tweet from Tordoff saying he had a photoshoot and livery ticked off, surely doesn't hint to a seat at Dynamics. He wouldn't be able to sign off his own livery in a works drive?

Got to be him in an independent team somewhere that permits a personal livery, like Speedworks or AmD. Perhaps even BMR.

Got to be Jackson at Dynamics.

Good point - Do Eurotech still have 3 TBL and 3 Honda's?

If Moffat moves their may be 3 Mercs too especially if Tordoff does have a TBL already to take with him.

eurotech lost their 3rd TBL two years ago.
tordoff wont have a TBL. they are only given to teams, not drivers without a team.

They have 2 and Simpson took his to them so that makes 3 TBL and 3 Honda in the Eurotech stables

Remember his livery doesnt have to be a full car, could just be photos of JCT600 logos appearing in an existing design.
id say Motorbase but surely "Team Shredded Wheat with Duo and Gallagher and JCT600 Motorbase" is too much of a mouthfull

When I saw the headline 'Nash returns to BTCC with Honda Civic' I thought they meant with TD, but it seems BTC Norlin it is. Good to have him back, he's a consistent driver, who's very talented too and has done alright on the world stage

Turning a shell into a race car is not a cheap job: It requires hundreds of man hours of work and will cost tens of thousands of pounds.
Silverstone used to charge 5k a garage on a test day, not sure what it is now though

Isn't Alain Menu available? He'd actually fill the description given, wouldn't he?

just be glad Rob Collard has already signed for WSR, interviews would take forever the way he slams the manufacturer and sponsors into every sentence

Adding value, Rob knows that it's the sponsors that pay for his weekend hobby, so keeping them sweet is simply being a smart cookie. He's so good at it he'd fit in well in NASCAR!

Veering back to TD, are Halfords and Yuasa back on board this year as big money sponsors? Getting a bit of JCT on the car might not be too hard.

Let's not forget, Parker - more quiet guys - could be cooking up a couple of cars. Or possibly just the one, but is Jelley a cert?

I believe Mr Hollamby will have revealed at least one driver by this time next week...
