Oulton Park advice

HI Everyone ,

we are thinking of going to Outlon Park for the F3 meeting in July , but as ive never been to that circuit before , i was after a bit of advice ..

As were taking 11 month old Sato san jr ....we would quite like to park the car in the circuit and find some parking with a view to still see the circuit ( like the South Bank at Brands or the Bombhole at Snetterton etc )...is that possible at Oulton , or do they make you park outside and walk in ?..

be most grateful for any advice of certain entrances to head for etc ?

F3 meetings a bit busier than most but you can park inside. If you are early enough you can park on the bank overlooking Cascades, that'll give you a good view from Dentons to Clay Hill. It's also only a short walk to The Avenue and Old Hall. Entrance by Warwick Bridge. Hope this helps and hope you enjoy Oulton!

another favourite place to park is on the outside of the track (inside the circuit confines) at knicker brook, this is accessed via its own side entrance & also gives excellent views. any more info pm me
hope you enjoy sato san

Yep, I back MikeM and bluebeard's local knowledge there - sometimes depends on how they decide to organise parking - it's different everytime I go. If you're early, inside Cascades is probably the best bet - you've got everything (kiosks, toilets etc) within easy reach there.

Inside Cascades - you don't want to carry little one up and over the hill, bridge etc and the facilities are excellent infield.

A word of warning - there are only two crossing places at Oulton: ClayHill bridge and the pedestrian crossing at Lodge.

Or you could drive in the Lodge, or Knickerbrook entrances.

You can get good 'from car vantage points' from Knickerbrook up towards Hilltop [and beyond].
Why not try all three entrances in the course of the day.

Why not have a practice run this Saturday at - what is looking likely to be - a very good clubbie. Try FF1600 for some excitement.
