For all of the season marshals have camped on the grassy area running up to beckets inside, (whether we were supposed to or not!!!) and I know that’s where we will be.

As for pub and food, don’t be fooled by the paddock bar, they usually close just after all the racing but for most of this year there has been enough marshals or team members to keep it open until about 18:30.

The marshals that do venture out to the pub use the royal oak on the A43. But with the camping across the other side of the circuit expect a walk of about a mile and it always seems further than you think. They do some really good pub food up till about 21:00 but try and get the order in fairly soon cause at busy times you may have to wait a bit.

The other alternative is to go to either towcester or Buckingham, they are both a short drive away and both have the usual supply of chip shops, pups, chinese restaurants, curry houses and anything else a tired marshal could want. (although Buckingham does not have a red light district :-))
