Alwaysfirst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Peter Brock Raceway

This is a new circuit named after Aussie legend Peter Brock. It was designed specifically for V8s and takes a lot of influence from Hidden Valley. As usual for me it is quite a fast circuit with plenty of elevation change!

The main straight is about 1.4km long with a slight downhill gradient, increasing towards T1. T1 leads into a series of fast uphill esses before the slow T5. This then leads to a very fast T6. It is nearly flat out and, like Piratella at Mexico City, slighty banked. This leads to another section of fast esses, this time with a steep downhill gardient, making them a bit of rollercoaster ride. These lead onto a curved 'straight' into the decreasing radius T11. There is then a medium length, uphill straight into the very tight hairpin of T12. This is nearly as tight as Loews at Monaco but with the fast run up to it I would hope that it would be a good overtaking oppertunity. The entrance has been made considerably wider for this purpose. Another straight leads to a series of gradually tightening esses that go downhill into the slow last corner.

Hope you like it!

It's not bad. I can't help but think the esses before the final corner are a little unnecessary and just complicate it a little.

I added this section because I feel that it would highlight the good drivers and show the poor ones for what they are. The challenge of a steep downhill section that gradually tightens is, I feel a good one. Braking through the corners is left as late as possible with the section rewarding bravery in the last 2 corners-a lot of time can be made here. I would see the last 2 corners as being fairly wide to allow last gasp efforts at overtaking, late on the brakes. Just my opinion but I do feel that there are enough straights on the circuit and that these esses just add slightly more excitement from a driving and possibly a spectating point of view.

Why not do the track the other way around?

I quite like the idea of running the track the other way around - I still prefer the original but as a track I think that clockwise would be just as good here as anti-clockwise. Plus the overtaking points are not lost!

Look good... its fast and flowing with some tight corners...

Don't know why, but when I first saw it, looked a bit like Adelaide International Raceway...
