New 40 min race series for 1 or 2 drivers

The CSCC will run two 40 min races later this year for post year 2000 machinery, ahead of a potential new series in 2015. This years races will run at Donington Park in August and Oulton park in September.

Sequential gearboxes will be allowed and there will be a slightly more relaxed view of aerodynamics than in CSCC series up to now, as long as the bodyshell and wheel arches are largely standard size and shape. Cars will run on List 1B tyres.

There will be a 4 class structure:

Up to 2000cc
2001cc-3000cc
3001cc-3500cc
Over 3500cc

The series will be known as the "New Millenium" series and cater for cars such as the Renault Clio Cup cars, Ginetta G50s, POrsche Cup, Aston Martin GT4 etc, as well as self built cars.

Older cars that have previously been ineligible for most CSCC series due to their aero or sequential gearboxes may also be eligible.

Some further details here:

As always, if you want any details please ask!

Think you need an up to 1600 class as well

It's worth thinking about, but we'll see how the 2 races go this year and listen to feedback before we finalise regs for next year.

Denis, I don't know the answer to that, best contact the office directly.

There are still entries available for the New Millenium race at Donington on Saturday 30 August, although after cop today a late entry fee may apply.
