Three Sisters
Got a newsletter through from Circuit Driver, with a one line report - "Three Sisters under new management" - anyone care to elaborate (Diz?)?

I believe Rob Bain is involved with the people who now own it, but I'm hazy on the details I'm afraid.

Partners are now Malcolm Barfoot, Rob Bain and Peter Barnes [TT member].
John Hammersley has retired. Business as usual I believe. Don't forget that I haven't worked for Aintree Racing Drivers; School / Three Sisters Race Circuit since 1997. |

I think he's been class winner on several occasions, not certain though (it could have been the Legatte / Reid ZR i'm thinking of). The name Rob Bain is familiar from somewhere else, was he something to do with toca a few years back?

The full story in Circuit Driver says that Three Sisters is fully licenced as a car race circuit, but has never been used as such. Is this really true (its not listed in the BB)?

Graeme:
The race licence for Three Sisters is, I believe, one of the requirements for running an ARDS (association, not Aintree) recognised racing school. Or it was previously, at least. But then it is always possible that the muppet that wrote the CD story has lost the few marbles he once had! |
